Tri-County Stump Removal of Springfield is a locally owned stump grinding business that has served the Springfield, Illinois area for over 25 years. In February 2023, the business was acquired by our new owner, Eric Kornack. Our goal is to serve our customers with Professionalism, Reliability, and Competitive Low Prices.

We are dedicated to completing each job in a prompt and efficient manner while respecting your property and time like we do our own. Due to the weight of our equipment and the impact it may have on your lawn, we may recommend postponing services during abnormally wet conditions.

OUR SERVICES
Tri-County Stump Removal focuses mainly on stump grinding services. We guarantee 100% removal of your stump(s). Each stump will be ground a minimum of 4-6 inches below the surface. This is the recommended depth to have new grass grow within the prior stump area.

For stumps with exposed roots, we will chase and grind the above ground roots that may be tripping hazards or cause damage to your lawn mower. All wood chips and debris will be raked into a neat pile at the location where the stump was removed.

Our stump grinders can handle any size stump(s). Our equipment only requires a minimum of 36 inches width opening in fences/gates/pathways in order to pass through.
